Our Story

For years, Elizabeth had a dream of building her own coffee shop as wherever she seemed to find herself in the world, the communities she held close were those built around coffee. Whether she was a guest at a local shop or behind the bar pouring coffee herself, this community always provided comfort, a home away from home, and the encouragement to take a moment for herself and do something positive in the world. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has always believed that her purpose is to support people becoming the best versions of themselves. So, when she stumbled upon a yellow VW Vanagon in Los Angeles - something she and her husband Tom had been seeking for years - the stars aligned for bringing the world a coffee community on wheels.  You cannot help but smile when you see the yellow van coming down the road.  That’s the intention of Lady Sunshine — bringing a bit more sunshine into the world, one cup at a time.
